Fur and Feathers and Scales, Oh My!

It's raining cats and dogs today, but that's not all! We have a lot of non-canine, non-feline pets here at the Humane Society of Skagit Valley. We have five birds, a turtle, and a rabbit available for adoption now! Here are our furred, scaled, and feathered stars:

Jeffrey, the red-eared slider. This lively, gentle aquatic turtle
would love to crawl on into your home and heart! 

Lola, the African Gray parrot.
Lola talks, whistles, bonds strongly with women,
and is extremely tame and social! 

He's cute, he's fluffy, he's . . . Oscar!
This is one of the sweetest, most beautiful,
and friendliest rabbits around. 

Pip & Periwinkle (above) or Sky & Hunch (below) are beautiful budgie pairs.
They are not tame but they twitter sweetly and bring joy and beauty to all who see them!
